[ And there is such a joy to it, to being solidly kissed. Smiling into it. A laughter as soft as their lips and she chases it briefly. Letting her fingers relax that little, splaying wider against the material, that light brush against her lower jaw. Because she is in a merry mood, after all, her teasing today.

But if she thinks that is the end of it - ]

Ah - ! [ She pulls up, not far, her eyes looking down them, watching Magni's lips. ] Of course, my mistake, you must have surely come to tell me how my sword fares.

( hoisted on her own petard

Magni leans back very slightly, eyebrows raising only very slightly, betraying her faint incredulity. )

That is a bad euphemism. ( And she says it so seriously, settling her hands at Manu's waist, and gently guiding her closer, if she will comply. ) But I will indulge it, if you demand it.

[ She steps with it, coming to settle between Magni's knees. Opting to slide her arms over her shoulders as she does so. Her elbows hooked over and around to settle against her back. Just as promised, her fingers tangling with the ends of her hair. ]

I am paying you for such a thing.

[ - And she might be utterly oblivious to what she really means by that. Because she is a woman that has lived in a brothel for years now, but she is a busy one. She cares for the girls, has an ear for their troubles when they need it, but a sword is a thing in her hand that cuts down her enemies, is her pride and the honour of her people. ]

Euphemisms?

( Quiet, as she tilts her head so she can look to Manu.

The closeness, the fingertips playing through the ends of her hair, makes Magni smile a little more, as she lightly circles her thumbs over Manu’s hips. )

Perhaps I have something to entertain you.

Do you just?

[ There is a challenging lift to her head, a go on then, that she juts with her chin. A laughter that is brimming behind words and eyes, that crinkles in little lines that belong to an older woman, all worn in with time. Yet sit on her young face. ]

I am eager to hear it.

( Magni just smiles, looking up at Manu—

It should not be fondly, but it is. What can she be, if not fond and adoring? She can accept it, at least, without ego or crisis. Not so Manu, she thinks. )

I think your Majesty may be scandalised.

I hardly think so. [ because fool that she is, playing about with a noble in such a way. No one with any sense would advise it, after all.

Not that Lakshmi is aware of it. Happy in her game of it for the time paying. Her head turns, checking for certain the door is shut, body leaning with the movement just so, then turns back. ] We are quite alone if you worry for my virtue.

( With a quietly amused hum, Magni glances to the bag that she’d set next to the desk when she claimed it for a seat, and slowly (carefully) leans to gather it up, so it rests beside her on the desk. One hand is still at Manu’s hip, and she watches her. The study is for changes in her expression that might betray discomfort, mostly, but a smidge of it might be for her own amusement, too.

After a moment, she draws out something wrapped in cloth, and unfolds it to reveal a leather harness, and the lengthy toy that it holds. Not shaped to resemble a phallus in a lifelike way, but comparisons could certainly be made.

And she waits, to see if she should banish the suggestion. )

[ There are oh - so many things she expected Magni pull out from her bag. Enough that she disentangles to give her the space to move. Leaning away but to look down with interest at what she pulls out. All of which have a great deal more to do with Magni's profession. A knife perhaps, maybe she had made jewellery, or had crafted some other fancy to share. Something a great deal more if not exactly proper, then at least sweet.

Certainly not that.

It's a good thing she'd never been the kind to obsess over being fair, because she's sure she'd have gone as pink as an Englishmen in the sun if her complexion didn't hide it. It's not that she'd never seen a thing like it. After all, there was only so many ways to treat hysteria, and some that had nothing to do with hysteria and everything to do with women -

She chokes, her hand lifts up to cover her mouth as she does. ] Magni, my word. [ because she'd never needed or thought to something like it. Whatever would have been the point? She picked her lovers, and yes, more over they had been men. In all sorts of places along the road and as summarily forgotten as she had first attempted with Magni. Things passed along. ]

... And you... With me? And neither of us physicians - so I suppose that - well. Yes.

[Congratulations. She has no idea where to even begin. ]

( She looks... bemused. )

Physicians?

( Reaching up, she brushes back some of Manu’s hair, and kisses her cheek. )

I think it is enjoyable, but I have no interest if it stirs unease.

It is not that. It is only that usually --

[ she clears her throat, still staring, for what it was worth. Trying to turn her mind to something that made a great deal more sense that half mad fussing. ]

It hardly matters, I'll explain it some other time. [ which leaves them and it, and everything else that entails and where she exactly stands on that. ] Why don't you start with kissing me? We can work the rest out, when we get to it.

[ which is not to say no, but just that she needs a... Moment. ]

( Her head cants to the side, gaze narrowing slightly with concern as she watches her Manu, and leans closer to kiss her cheek. Shushing her quietly, in what she hopes is a soothing, calming gesture rather than something condescending or insulting. )

I'm under your command.

( Murmured against her jaw, as her hand cups Manu's neck, and the fingers of her other hand follow the line of her collarbone, no matter the layers that might lay over it. ) Say the word and I will obey.

[ And oh, and how that soothes, Her fingers lifting and curling around indulgently, her head tilting to the side with a deep and heavy sigh. So full with that contentment she might burst like a river at the edge. Flowing out and over. How warm Magni's hands were, how sure they could settle in and make her feel comfortably slight. Fitted in well. ]

You make such tempting offers.

[ Provokely so. She follows it, but it not to say that she slows her pace simply because she is unsure. Rather, she goes for what she knows. ] But I already told you what I wanted.

[ And she leans in, pressing up on her toes to match Magni's height even when she was half lent back. Her hands cupping her neck in response and kiss her, full against her lips with that customary lack of inclination to drag any kind of teasing out too long. Slanting her lips as her head tilts to continue to kiss her, with teeth and tongue all. The part of breath is only to find a rhythm to the movements, to how she leans into her. Pressing them closer and closer. ]

( Magni smiles against the kiss, making a quiet, pleased sound as Manu leans against her, her hands sliding possessively from her hips to grasp at her rear and pull her closer still, keep her close. Her teeth catch Manu's lip, a teasing tug, before she breaks the kiss, and dips her head to start kissing the column of her neck, gentle bites sneaking in to the slow, indulgent kisses trailing over her skin.

After all, Manu said to kiss her. She never specified where, so Magni is happy to tease just a little. Oh, Manu does not seem to tease a great deal, which makes it all the more appealing for Magni to do it, to see what responses it draws out. )

[ And teased she is, her fingers hard set into her back with a pleasant gasp of the lips on her neck. That pleased shiver that she covers in a deep laugh that bubbles and spills without going further. How good her mood was, how gladly it could be made better.

As her eyes slip shut, pulling into that smile, that touch, she leans her head back. No, she does not tease terribly. She takes, in the most direct fashion with little middle ground, and no doubt Magni would enjoy making her learn deviations. But as of right now, there is a pleasure in it. In, in turn, gathering up Magni's hair between her fingers, tangled between the braids as she ran them against her scalp. Gladly encouraging her into the curve of her body as it was offered up to her wandering and teasing. ]

( As Manu's fingers run over her scalp, Magni makes a pleased sound against her throat. She leans into her, just as she is pulling Manu closer to herself, and her hands begin to slide upwards, find the edge of her shirt, and her fingers touch the warm skin. Her hands keep moving upwards, and she follows the contours of Manu's muscles, her back, as she raises her head, and gently bites down on Manu's lip. )

Is that all you wanted?

[ She responds with slow strokes of her fingers against her head, sliding through her hair lightly. ]

You know it isn't. [ Is the rumbled bite as she is in turn bitten, her body arching up in a gasp. Soft and needy, looking for more of the space with a focused intent. A hand moving to turn Magni's face up to kiss her again. Dragging her mouth over Magni's in a way that is barely even a kiss, is more an intent to devour. To pick the bits out of her teeth later, with this same breathless eager, excitement. ] Come on.

[ Impatient as ever, demanding as ever, so disinclined to wait if she did not have to. Not about the things she wanted. Not when the thing she wanted was in her own hands. ]

( The contrast of the slow hands in her hair and the hunger of the kiss makes her abdomen flutter. Her fingertips trace lightly over shoulderblades.

The sound she makes— it is not shushing. It does mix together shushing and tutting, against the kiss as she very deliberately respond to slow Manu.

Not because she wants to go slowly particularly, but because she wants to provoke her. And because Manu needs to learn patience, yes, but she doesn't mind if she winds up mastering patience a different day. )

[ Provoke her, it does. Her face turned up in a beckon for more, for faster, for the rougher exploration of those hands over her body. To reach further, undress her and when it does - not - she lets out a shaky breath. Pulling back and fixing Magni with a look. All challenge and determination. Oh, really?

And with it, her hands drop, crisscrossing her body instead to reach at the hem of her shirt now untucked. Taking it by fistfuls and pulling it up her body and straight-armed over her head as it's pulled and discarded away. Enough of a tug where it catches on her hair that it begins to loosen. Tugs on that too, until it comes free to fall over her bare chest, down and down to her hips before she leans back in.

With all that display done, she leans up, to brush her thumb against the bottom of Magni's lip, sinking the curve of her nail just slightly in. Go on, then, slow as you can manage. ]

( A slow inhale, and Magni smiles. Slight, as she accepts that look, and her lips part as Manu throws down her shirt. She is beautiful, and there are times when Magni wonders if this woman of fire and gold is as divine as Korth and the Lady of the Skies. How could she be anything but, when she burns with such an intensity? And yet, that would be impossible, when she is so entirely human.

Magni's fingers press a little firmer, dragging slowly across her ribs, until she catches one of Manu's wrists in her hand, bound still by the leather bracer. Stubbornly, Magni brings Manu's hand closer, tugs if she is met with resistance, and pulls at the leather cord fastening it with her teeth, before kissing Manu's palm. Her free hand comes to loosen the ties of it, as she presses another gentle kiss to the palm, higher, before Magni's teeth catch a fingertip.

All the while she watches Manu and works away the bracer, as she draws two fingers into her mouth. )

[she could not move if she wanted too. Transfixed by the warmth of the lips against her fingers. That little white flash of teeth on the lacing as she pulls them free. She watches in a fixed gaze, her breath falling thin between her lips.

Because there is that drunken feeling again, a hangover from the first. A warm sensation that she feels light behind her eyes and flood her gaze, until it settles heavy lidded. How magnificent Magni is, how utterly something else. That any part of this could be too much, or too little, or rub her the wrong way - but oh, how together she places, and Lakshmi feels drawn out like metal under the hammers blow. Dinted into a particular shape by skilled hands. ]

Magni... [ no more than a pray like whisper, shared between them. ]

( Drawing back, she lifts her head, leans closer— and stops just shy of kissing Manu. Her fingers still loosely hold her wrist, and Magni smiles as she pulls the bracer away, and tosses it to the floor. She guides Manu's hand to her chest, so that she can feel Manu's hand over her breast, and releases it so she can start working away the other bracer. Not quite so drawn out, because she doesn't want to pull away from Manu, and instead presses a kiss to the corner of her mouth, slow and lingering. )

Manu.

( The second bracer is drawn away, and then Magni waits. )

[ There is always something satisfying to feeling them both get the better of themselves so mutually. That breathless little laugh as Magni settles her hand on her body and - hardly fitting for a woman to be so brazenly appreciative, really, but she cups underneath her breath, sweeping her thumb across her nipple in a blunt swipe. Deliberately distracting, playful. Letting her thumb circle to see how much she can take before it becomes too much of a distraction. ]

( Magni exhales slowly, steadying herself against the effective distraction being offered her through the fabric of her shirt. It's not terribly steadying, really, as she leans into the contact, wraps her arms around Manu and pulls her closer. Roughly, but only just, as she dips her head to bite Manu's neck, as her fingers rake her back. )

[ her head rolls back eagerly, the short sharp sigh bleeds out of her. All quick and needy, and when her eyes half open, heavy with the weight of being held onto, of her skin being marred in a far more pleasant way for once she -

Licks her lips, that little spark of mischief and her favourite game she's learned to play with Magni. Her fingers still playing around her breast. Perhaps if Magni were to look her in the eye, she might know the warning signs. Because if anyone knew them at this point, it would be Magni.] I do wonder, you bringing that here. You must have had a thought on what you'd want to do with me.

[ She doesn't bother to not sound affected, that was part of this joy of it, surely. Easing herself into the notion. A play of words to images to tease them both. ] Did you want me on my back, on the bed? My knees up on your side. Or - [ her thumb still circles, still teases in little rolls. ] - did you want to sit in my chair, whilst I sat in your lap. Back to you of course, like you were my throne.

[ Ridiculous, of course, she'd never had that sort of throne but - well, all of this was, and oh, but how Magni liked to twist her titles back.

But even laughing with it, straining with the heat of the mouth in her skin, the nails in he back, her breath hitches and her fingers dig in. ] Or did you want to bend me over my desk and see how long it takes before I can't even speak.

[ Like pressing a blade in. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Which way she'd snap for, which word was too much which image struck her clearest. Which would be too much to not want. ]
