[ She certainly isn't allowed to go far, by any means. Even if as she comes back down, her body sinking back into the bed - she has none of the fierce grip she had a moment ago. Settling and falling away to let her roll where she needs to, but not to go far. Warm limp limbs that drape over her, burrowing into her side contently. Her eyes still closed, her body stretching out. Everything about her all at once, relaxed.

What she does manage is a warm kiss to her shoulder as she tucks herself in neatly and comfortably. A slight shiver of sweat cooling on her body now that she wasn't breathing so hard, pushed like she'd had to run a mile. Just a little slip of smoke ad air and heat that settles in herself, dizzyingly content.

If that is why women went to get their hysteria treated, the whole practise suddenly made a great deal more sense. ]

( Rolling onto her back, enjoying the cool feeling of the sheets against her skin, Magni waits for Rani to make herself comfortable against her bringing her hand to rest at the small of her back. Her other hand is slowly unbuckling the harness, although she hasn't made any moves yet to lift her hips or slide it down her legs. She feels too content to see to that element of comfort.

Magni tilts her head, presses a kiss to Rani's temple (or her forehead, or her hair, depending on how exactly they're situated) and exhales, betraying the exertion and breathlessness that came with it. )

[ She smiles, silent to herself, rubbing her cheek against her shoulder briefly. But with her breath caught back in her chest, she finds the energy to not do much more. Her limbs tingling slowly toes curling up against her briefly. All pooled together. ]

If that is what I can expect from that thing then, by all means, I am quite at your leisure.

[ She turned her face up, indulgent into the kiss. Returning it messily, lipping against her jaw. ] But if you're going to be fucking me like that I am going to need to clear a few more hours next time. [ Laughing, briefly, taking a deep sigh and settling back with it. ]

( Magni laughs as well, although only quietly, and lightly pokes Rani's hip. )

You think we're finished? I thought you listed more—

( A tilt of her head. ) Demands? Suggestions?

( She smiles at Rani, and it doesn't occur to her to be alarmed by the warmth in her chest, the lightness of it. )

[ She groans, throatily, deeply, rolling half onto her back as she's pocked. Like so little a thing could send her sprawling.

To be fair to the ache in her legs, the faint tremble in them still, it most certainly could be. She just can't let Magni know that, or she'd never live it down. ]

I did have work to do before you... occupied me.

[ Not that she's going to be thinking straight about it - but she lets it hang like half a threat that she might, just, get out of bed right now. ]

You work for diplomacy.

( Magni shrugs, smile very slight. )

This is... improving relations with the Avvar.

[ She barks laughter at that, rolling up onto one arm. This time, her long hair falling over her shoulders, her other hand pressing against the bed beside Magni's head, peering down at her with the little smile. ]

Improving relations? Shall I write that in my report? 'I have found the Avvar to be quite agreeable to suggestions I put forth of hours of... rigorous discussion.'

( A nod of confirmation. There is surely a silly, clever play on words she could make here - the the Avvar put little stock in words, perhaps, that they are convinced with actions, but Magni just offers a small smile. She is not a wordsmith, nor is she particularly wordy at all. She's already offered plenty of them.

Instead, she leans forward, and sucks hard at the flesh over Rani's collarbone, nips it with her teeth, before pulling back. Not enough to bruise, just barely, but almost.)

[ She is ever a silent one, more direct than Lakshmi by halves, and that said more than it truly should.

But that particular thought has better things to consider, like the mouth on her skin that beckons her down. Her fingers digging in harshly to the bedding, curving, slightly, lowering herself to be in easier reach. ]

There is one problem with these negotiations, of course - [ on behalf of the Inquisition, of course. ] - you've yet to ask what would be beneficial for the Avvar. That is the crucial point, in these arrangements.

( Magni's hand slides to Rani's back urging her closer, as she bites down again, only to realise she is being asked a question. A slight tilt back, only enough to look up to her, head angling a little to the side as she thinks.

She opens her mouth, pauses, realises she thinks better of it, exhales, and then: )

Socks.

[ She doesn't lift herself up, she just leans in, stretching herself. But she does start to laugh. Incorriagable. ]

I am telling Herian that.

[ But she doesn't fight it, she throws her leg over her, straddling her waist. Perching in her lap, warmly. A little sore, happily so, settling back to look down her body at Magni. ]

But you've got to want more than that, would you rather me here? [ A sweep, watching her face, watching any little twitch that could give her a indication. ] Or maybe you'd prefer me lying on my belly? [ Her hands brace, either side to Magni's waist, smoothing up loosely, then back down. ] You do not even have to ask, simply move me. I can figure out the rest.

[ Magni, please. ]

( A heavy swallow, making the scar across her throat briefly shift as Rani straddles her lap, the harness still hanging at her hips, even if the buckles around her legs are loosened. Her focus is so much on Rani, that the words are almost lost, and she has to blink to regain her focus. )

This, after.

( Like this, with Rani on top of her, that should come later.

A little tilt of her head, for Rani to let her move, and then she moves from underneath her - slowly takes Rani's hands and sets them down on the bed so she's on all fours, kisses her shoulder, and moves so she is kneeling behind her, and leans down to kiss Rani's back, tilting her head, questioning. )

[ After, what? But, they're moving. She goes with the prompt, needing no more than that. At least the second where she needs to balance herself on her knees. Her hand reaching up as she turned half to see - what it is Magni is up to.

But the response to that question is at least, easy, light, her shoulders shifting, moving all her hair out of the way so Magni can have more space to kiss. That little bit - that she can never help, would never stop at least in Magni's presence: tilts her chin up, meets her gaze squarely.

Go on, then, I'm waiting. ]

( Kneeling behind her, Magni gently braces one of her hands on Rani's hips, trailing kisses down her spine, as her free hand checks the buckles of the harness.

Of course, Rani is waiting, but when has that meant Magni won't tease her? A bite to her back, and Magni leans forward, letting her height drape across Rani's back, so she can murmur against her neck, )

No more negotiations?

[ She jolts, a soft hiss as she's bitten, her back arching up. That shiver of skin that is too eager to be faked, too much to be anything else but her.

Not that she can go far, at the steady weight that rolls over her like a wave. Warm, skin, the soft press of Magni, strong beneath it, against her. How she wants it - the ways she does not expect it. Because there is something easy to this she has never deserved but turns up against like petals looking for light. Never allowed out of these quarters, repeated to herself over and over again, but for now - for now.

She pushes back, feeling that shiver of breath on skin kept hidden for the brush of death it usually is. Now, now just warmth, light and laughter and she hums, likes how it feels, the sort of things she has no walls built up against. ] I think the terms have been met.

[ Half drunk in the words with a sort of expectation that no doubt, Magni has something dreadful planned.

But at least it wasn't socks. ]

Oh? So then I should stop?

( If the terms have already been met, after all, what need was there to proceed? One of her hands trails up the back of Rani's thigh, sliding until her fingers brush against the slick already on her skin, the waiting heat, and she lightly presses against it. Not into it, just leaning against it, biting her lip as she teases, and slowly guides the head of the toy to rest against Rani. Presses only enough that Rani be aware of its location, as Magni bites Rani's back again. )

[ Hard to save face when her hips are twitching, looking for contact she already knows Magni will not give until she's quite ready. Tempting enough, follow the pattern to roll them over -

- No, she had asked, and - ]

Met, not satisfied.

[ Is the grit little breath, hard pressed between her teeth as her jaw clenches and she does her best not to push, not to pull. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Presses her face into her own arm, when she gasps, deep and hard, smothering it into her own skin. ]

( Her fingers trail down Rani's side, steady at her hip, and she murmurs something barely comprehensible save for a soothing tone as she slowly, slowly, pushes her hips forward.

Her other hand rests under the toy to guide it, and when she's satisfied, rests on Rani's other hip so she can gently guide her backwards, until the back of Rani's thighs are flush against the front of her own. )

You're saying I should hold out for the socks?

You should certainly - ah,

[ Whatever quick, witty and clever thing, she absolutely was going to say is gone, just as soon as she presses in. Her back curves down, lowering herself down onto her elbows by fractions. The pressure, the angle enough to hitch her breath by seconds for the centimetres she seems to move at. ]

- hold out, for the delivery.

( Magni smiles, leaning down - shifting the pressure, albeit that not being the purpose of it - to kiss Lakshmi's back. She stays close as she rocks back, and then forward again, agonisingly slow. One of her hands rests at Lakshmi's shoulder, a silent question, head tilted. Okay? )

[ Carefully, slowly, her hand curls up against the sheet with the movement. A reactionary need to stabilise her breath. Keep her body still for Magni. Even when her brow furrows, her eyes sliding shut, that little gasp that doesn't close her lips, caught between pushing back normally and just - letting Magni adjust. A haze fog in her mind, shifting her weight with each testing movement to make sure her legs wouldn't give out underneath her.

( They would, of course, Magni had a way with that, but at least not right now.) ]

Mm? [ The kiss blinks her eyes open, her head tilting back, up, her heart beat inside her mouth as she catches the side of Magni's face to kiss her. fine. ]

( Her smile is breathless, and she grips Rani's hips a little harder, resuming moving - slow at first, and then drawing back and thrusting forward again much faster, as she pulls Rani's hips back towards her. To see how far she can push her, not let her settle into that fog, and let them both get lost in this when work and the strain of the war and the Inquisition can be so much. This is a shared exhilaration, a shared freedom, and she leans down to kiss Rani's back - grins, bites. )

This might be the most cooperative you've ever been.

[ God, that felt good, she doesn't fight her overmuch, not even for the sake of it. She wouldn't be fooling either of them. Holding the tension of it across her shoulders, her back curving down, because fog it is, encroaching, settling like a malaise, wrapping around all her limbs and dragging down, down, down. Even when she bites, the best Lakshmi can do is groan deeply. Her arms buckling momentarily before she catches herself. ]

I take my diplomacy- [ shit, her breath sticks, scrunching up material in both hands when she's driven flush into and there is so much and - ] - seriously.

[ Which is more a hiss than a word. ]

( She sees that buckling, and her smile turns wicked. Her hands press down at Rani's hips. )

Down.

( Quietly, as she slows to stillness, and urges Rani to lie on her stomach. And then, she leans closer, so she can murmur in Rani's ear to tease her, )

Unless you think it beneath you?

[ She drops, didn't take more than that push, the steady pressure. She crumbles under it. Her arms curling underneath her, and she presses her face into the crux of her own elbow. Adjust like that, half hidden away as she takes deep breathes to stilll herself from squirming too much. ]

The only thing that is going to be beneath me is you, if you don't stop talking -

[ she shivers, but the stillness lets her unfurl from being quite so still in little ticks of untensed muscles. Can't help that she stretches out underneath her, tilting her face into her voice, sighing softly, turning up into it despite the ire, the want to hide her face away. Because despite the ire of her words, she nuzzles the side of her face, warmth looking for warmth, breathing against the curve of her ear. ]
