( Unseen though it is, her smile is very bright. )

Much to say, but not... skill to say it. ( She’s no poet, and words seem inadequate to articulate her relief and joy in this moment. But Lakshmi is right, she’s not overly fond of the crystals. )

[ Magni no doubt, knows the look, the raised brow and that little bit of daring in how she'd roll her shoulders back in invitation. ]

Oh, well.

Magni is surprised quiet for a few moments, looks around to ensure they have privacy, and brings the crystal closer to her. Protecting it, the words Lakshmi speaks to her. Even so, a slightly mischievous smile plays about her lips. )

It is a very comfortable bed. Very restful.

Restful? [ She hisses it, laughing. Oh is that so? ]

Well, I will happily let you sleep on it. So you can get all the rest you require.

( She enjoys the sound of her laughter, and smiles happily to herself, relaxing a little more. )

And good for you, as well. The elderly need to rest.

Elderly!

[ She's laughing again, at least no one is about to hear it. She'd never live down sounding so happy, but it's - something at least, to be so without reason to stop. ]

We'll see about elderly. [ you're going to go through hell when she gets you to herself again, Magni. ]

If I am looking wizened, I must need to drink more blackwater.

( Quiet, steady. )

But I haven't been there to tease your Highness, and that is a... great loss.

[ It is a good thing Magni is not here, because there is no helping the pleased flush that works up her face, that - like a flighty in love woman, she has to cover her smile like she was the age she appeared then the age she was.

Well, no one had to know if she did it anyway. ]

It's true, I am running rampant over them all, unchecked.

( A brief note of laughter, and Magni’s smile can be heard in her words. )

[ She breathes out, huffing a little. ]

[ she chuckles, deep and throaty. ]

When you take me off them, of course.

( A knowing sound. )

May. That is a price I am willing to pay.

( A sigh, soft. )

It is my turn to take watch. But— soon?

( Good. She doesn't speak aloud, but perhaps the smile and her happiness is evident in the quiet sound she makes in response. Soon, agreed and promised, before she allows the crystal connection to end. She must get to her watch, and do her part in making sure they all make it safely back to the Kirkwall. )
